WESING Paves the Way for Advancement in the Martial Arts Sanda Qualifiers of the Second Youth Games.

Recently, preliminary competitions for various sports at the National Second Youth Games are in full swing across the country. From April 12 to April 18, the preliminary round of Wushu Sanda for the 2nd National Youth Games—“Freedom Fighters Cup” (School Sports Team Category) and the qualifying round for the 10th Asian Junior Wushu Championships kicked off at the Luoyang City Gymnasium (hereinafter referred to as the “Second Youth Games Wushu Sanda School Sports Team Category”). As a global supplier for the International Wushu Federation (2018-2021), WESING (Jiuri Mountain) proudly served as the designated supplier of sanda fighting platforms and sanda protective gear, providing unwavering support and protection for the participating athletes with the spirit of a true warrior.

The first stop of the Second National Youth Games Wushu Sanshou Sports School Group (Luohe Station) is hosted by the Martial Arts Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the Chinese Wushu Association, the Henan Provincial Sports Bureau, and the People's Government of Luohe City, and organized by the Henan Provincial Martial Arts Sports Management Center and other relevant entities. A total of 53 sports school teams from across the country, comprising 432 athletes, are participating in the event.

The qualifying round for the Wushu Sanshou event of this Second Youth Games is divided into two main categories: the Sports School Group and the Social Club Group. A total of 20 weight classes are set up across the Men’s and Women’s Class A and Class B divisions. The Social Club Group (Wudangshan Station) will kick off from May 7 to 11 in Hubei Province. According to the competition rules, athletes who participate in this event and place within the top 12 in each weight class and division will advance to the finals of the Wushu Sanshou Sports School Group at the Second Youth Games. In addition, the athletes who stand out in this competition will represent the national team at the 10th Asian Junior Wushu Championships, scheduled to be held in Brunei in August.

The National Youth Games, a large-scale, comprehensive national sports event held every four years, was established to align with the International Olympic Committee’s decision to create the Youth Olympic Games specifically for young people aged 14 to 18. The second National Youth Games, hosted by the General Administration of Sport of China in 2019, aims to identify and cultivate reserve sports talent, actively encourage youth participation in sports activities, further promote the spirit of sports, strengthen the physical health of young people, and temper their willpower—thus laying an even stronger foundation for building a Healthy China and a sports powerhouse. According to the general rules of the competition regulations, the 49 competitive events of the second National Youth Games are divided into two categories: the Sports School Group and the Social Club Group.
